WHAT DO I RECEIVE?
Most importantly, the right to use the name INTERNATIONAL MERGERS and ACQUISITIONS®. In addition, you receive access to immediate contacts, products and clients, training, manuals, newsletters, stationery, business cards, personal business plan, orientation sessions, workshops, Creative Work Sessions, Creative Web Sessions, the IMA web site and private chat room, IMA's reservoir of talent, and more. All the things you need to operate your business as INTERNATIONAL MERGERS and ACQUISITIONS®.

WHAT TYPE OF EXPERIENCE SHOULD AN ASSOCIATE MEMBER HAVE?
Past experience has shown that someone with a wide range of business experience, good contacts, good communications skills, and who feels comfortable visiting with (calling on) corporate officers, should do quite well when using IMA’s program.

DOES IMA HAVE A TRAINING PROGRAM?
Yes! You begin by attending an Orientation Session that will familiarize you with other IMA Associate Members and the IMA procedures you will utilize as an Associate Member. The main objective is to determine “How to Make IMA Work For You”. A Personal Business Plan is tailored for you, as each Associate Member utilizes IMA’s resources in different ways. Once you are an Associate Member, IMA’s Start-Up Program (SUP) will begin. IMA’s Creative Work Sessions include workshops and personalized training. Training is an on-going process, as you become involved in various opportunities.

RESERVOIR OF TALENT – HOW DOES THIS HELP ME?
IMA Associate Members are chosen from a wide range of specialized fields, thus affording you multi-discipline resources. Your affiliation with other knowledgeable, talented professionals with thousands of years of experience can save you time in terms of unproductive work by obtaining expert advice up front. You need not bypass any opportunity. Your association with IMA offers you the flexibility of working alone or putting an IMA team together to pursue many attractive possibilities for your clients’ needs.

HOW DO I MEET AND BECOME ACQUAINTED WITH OTHER ASSOCIATE MEMBERS?
INTERNATIONAL MERGERS and ACQUISITIONS® schedules Creative Work Sessions throughout the year. This is a time for brainstorming, and gives you the opportunity to meet informally with other Associate Members of IMA and get to know them on a personal basis. More importantly, it gives you a chance to discuss and expose specific projects and client needs with other Members. These Sessions involve much more than the obvious agenda of activities designed to motivate, educate, and stimulate the Members, although these, in themselves, are a valuable part of the program. IMA also schedules Creative Web Sessions on the first Monday of each month, which gives Associate Members the opportunity to meet and discuss these needs on a monthly basis by using IMA’s private chat room.

WHAT TYPE OF OFFICE AND STAFF WILL I NEED?
Today’s technology enables most Associate Members to have their office in their home with no employees, which keeps overhead to a minimum.

WHY IS INTERNATIONAL MERGERS and ACQUISITIONS® A UNIQUE ORGANIZATION?
IMA is a one-stop service for today’s business and corporate needs, offering more specialized services, primarily because of the diversified talent within the organization. Remember that IMA’s Associate Members are individual members, not firms, enabling us to control the quality of the individuals representing IMA. However, your firm or present business may purchase the Associate Membership, with you selected as the designated Associate Member. IMA’s program is designed to enhance the services of your present operation, business or employer.

CAN I SELL MY MEMBERSHIP?
Yes. Your Associate Membership can be sold with IMA's approval, which cannot be unreasonably withheld.

WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES FOR OBTAINING AN ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP WITH INTERNATIONAL MERGERS and ACQUISITIONS®?

  2. The inquiry form will be reviewed, and a telephone conference will be scheduled with the potential Associate Member.
